The Asia Development Bank (ADB) has chosen central Da Nang city as one of the four localities in Vietnam to get its funding to build international-standard universities, the city’s People Committee said on October 9.
Da Nang’s ADB-funded university, which is estimated to cost US$120 million, will be built on an area of 50 ha within the University Village, located about 20 km from the city centre.
The ADB plans to launch the project in January 2009 in cooperation with Da Nang University.
