Small and medium enterprises’ week to be held

The SME Week, to be organised for the first time and will become an annual event from this year, is scheduled to be carried out in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and some other localities in mid-November.


Nhan Dan Online - The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ocean Group on July 30 signed in Hanoi an agreement to jointly organise a National Week for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME Week) themed "Connection and Integration for Joint Development.”

The SME Week, to be organised for the first time and will become an annual event from this year, is scheduled to be carried out in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and some other localities in mid-November.

Activities during the SME Week include business forums, exhibitions, TV talk shows, training courses and forums, exchange views, share experiences and propose solutions to support development of SMEs.

Ocean Group is the trade representative of the economic-financial channel INFOTV broadcasted on Vietnam Cable Television's VCTV 9 channel.

The group has signed an agreement with VCCI to be the television channel to sponsor comprehensive information for VCCI from now till 2010.

VCCI will disseminate economic information, opportunities for investment co-operation, trade promotion to enterprises and businessmen in the fastest way via INFOTV.

INFOTV was officially aired in March 2007, specialising in providing financial and economic information.
