In 2016, Vietnam exported 7,3 billion USD worth of wooden furniture and other forest products, an increase of 5,8% over 2015, With the first 9 months 2017 has been exported 5,5 bilion USD, turning Vietnam into the 5th biggest wooden furniture exporter in the world.
VIFA-EXPO 2018, held in Ho Chi Minh City - the economic central of the Southern Vietnam, will be the platform for all furniture, handicraft, home decoration products and supporting services that will meet the need of buyers from all over the world. This year 2018, with the scheduled scale of over 2,000 booths in a total area of 30,000sqm, the buyers will easily find expected products with competitive prices and establish business directly with expected 350 exhibitors of the fair. Foreign visitors are from more than 79 countries and territories.
VIFA-EXPO 2018 will be held from 07 - 10 March at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) - 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan Phu Ward, Dist.7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (The first fair in the fair chain for ASEAN).
In VIFA-EXPO 2018, HAWA reserve an area to exhibit the winning prizes of the Furniture Design Competition – Hoa Mai Prize 2017 – 2018. Started from 2002, the furniture design competition (Hoa Mai) is held by HAWA with the expectation of contributing to develop Vietnam furniture design industry, the taget of Hoa Mai competition is to find and foster talented designers.
Seeing is believing. Beside visiting the fair, the Vietnamese and FDI Exhibitors of VIFA-EXPO will be ready to invite buyers to visit their factories, which located in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An provinces (about 1-2 hours to go from Ho Chi Minh City), to strengthen the buyers' trust in their brandname.
